Suga Development is a culmination of many talents and many years in the building industry. Largely a family run company who's Florida roots date back as far as the late 1950's, the Denahan family left the Northeast for greater opportunity in the Sunshine State. As Pioneers of sorts in the early days of an ever growing South Florida population, the family was raised with an appreciation for the local treasures and limited resources in the region. Reduce; Reuse and Recycle have been engrained in us long before those practices became a catch phrase. Influenced by the Ocean, Everglades and Agribusiness of the early days of South Florida the Suga team has developed a unique perspective on design and material usage for this area.

Having lived through several South Florida building booms which introduced varying styles and quality levels of construction to the area, Suga Development developed a "second-to-none" build quality approach. Having worked in all facets of the construction industry over the past four decades he brings a unique perspective on successful building techniques and materials in the South Florida market. His background working with fine automobiles and racing bicycles has added to his appreciation of classic lines and efficient designs which run through his build projects.

John Van Kleeck - Project Management - Design - Craftsmanship

With a background as a Catastrophe Adjuster in the Insurance Industry John has seen up close which construction methods adapt well in the harsh Florida environment. His experience helps clients to understand the balance between building possibilities and the building budget. John participates in all facets of the process from design, budgeting, implementation and schedule management. John also spent years in the cabinetry business. Shaping surfboards and hand crafting acoustic guitars are some of the creative avenues that keep him tuned in to the design/build process.

Having a background in public accounting, working in many major metropolitan areas of the country and growing up in the construction industry in South Florida allows a unique perspective that helps clients work through many of the financial decisions they face during the acquisition and build process.
